Two brothers, one frustration, one bag.

Autumn 2022, Vietnam. Joep is walking through the city in 30-degree heat and realizes: this could be done smarter. Too heavy, too sweaty, and setting it down is a nightmare. A suitcase? Not an option on dirt roads and stairs. That is how the idea for a backpack that rolls when you want it to was born.

Endless sketching, testing, and starting over. Then there it was: a sturdy backpack with wheels. The reactions from friends and fellow travelers gave us the confidence that this could become something bigger than an attic project.

We launched the very first Legpack. Travelers called it the middle ground between a backpack and a suitcase: compact, robust, and flexible. Exactly how we ourselves would have wanted to take it to Vietnam.

Inventory flew out the door and feedback came pouring in. We released version two: stronger wheels, TSA lock, better material, and higher-quality zippers. Legpacks are now traveling to Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond.

We noticed an increasing demand from our customers for a Legpack that can be taken on board as carry-on luggage. This required us to go back to the drawing board: How can we make the Legpack smaller while retaining all the benefits of a wheeled backpack?
