About us
Kamiel
Kamiel's love for traveling started when he started as an exchange student in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to his daily return trip, Kamiel has also been to Japan and Bali. In Bali, Kamiel discovered the importance of a backpack: the cheapest way to travel through Bali is with a rented scooter. However, because of the paved roads, a suitcase also seemed to be ideal!
Joep
Joep is a fanatical traveler in training, who started with a trip through Vietnam, and then a small visit to his lovely brother in Korea. Joep came with a normal backpack. Despite his young age (That's what he thinks), he arrived at his hostels with a sore and sweaty back. Because there is plenty of paved road to be found despite the many mountains in Vietnam, Joep missed the convenience of a suitcase.
We saw that we were not the only ones with these problems, as other backpackers also arrived at the hostels with heavy, bulky backpacks. Why isn't there a Backpack in a large size, 50 Liters, where you can easily put all your stuff in and where you have the convenience of both a suitcase and a Backpack? This is how Legpack came into existence!
